Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Land Rover Evoque- Video
Hey everyone, Shane here with etrail.com, today, I have a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, and I wanna walk you through how to install the Tekonsha ZCI Wiring Harness. Nice thing about the DCI wiring harness is it doesn't require us to tie into the factory wiring on the vehicle. It has a little box, you lay the wire in it, and it reads the signal as it passes over that box. That makes it nice because we're not damaging any of our wiring. There is a little bit of extra involved with installing it, that way, however, again, this type of wiring would be good if you are leasing this vehicle and you have to turn it in, you know, after your three-year lease, or five-year lease is up, if you don't have anything damaged on it, you can take this wiring and you can switch it over to the new vehicle you're gonna be using. This wiring is gonna give you the four-pole plug to allow you to tow a trailer, to give you all the proper lighting functions. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector trailer wiring harness, here on our 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport. So, our trailer wiring harness is gonna be one of the few different components that are gonna be required to tow a trailer with our vehicle. So, the wiring harness is gonna transmit the signals from the towed vehicle to our trailer to let others out on the road know what we're doing. Most times, the trailer can actually block the vehicles taillights. Therefore, we still need to wait to let other motorists on the road know what signals we're going to be making. Today on our 2016 Land Rover Range Rover, we're gonna be installing Curt's T-Connector four pole vehicle wiring harness. Part number C56293.And this is what our wiring is gonna look like when it's installed. It easily attaches behind your panel and the excess just hangs out below and you can secure it to your receiver using the included dust cap. The dust cap also keeps out dirt and debris ensuring a lon-lasting connection. This connector is gonna provide you with all the necessary lighting you need for your trailer, this includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps.So you will be DOT compliant in all states. We'll begin our installation by removing our appearance panel. more

Today on our 2013 Land Rover Evoque we're going to be taking a look at and installing a Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness, part number C56159. So here's what our wiring looks like when it's fully installed. It's going to give us a four pole flat, which is going to allow us to hook up to our trailer and have all the required lights going down the road such as our clearance lights, turn signals, and brake lights. When you're not using your wiring, you can take your dust cap loop it through your hitch right here, and not only will it keep our four pole protected against all the elements, but it will also keep it from dangling and hitting the road. Now this is a very straightforward installation. We're just going to have one plug that we're going to plug into our factory harness, and then we're going to route our four pole to our hitch. Now let's show you how we get it installed. Now to begin our installation we're going to need to come to the back driver's side of our vehicle. more

Now, our wiring's going to provide us a four pole flat, and all the lights necessary when driving down the road with a trailer, such as your clearance lights, brake lights, and turn signals. Today our 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Tekonsha ZCI circuit protected vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector and install kit. Part number 119250KIT. This is what your harness is going to look like. As you can see they're not pinched into any other wires. They still slide freely over top. It's going to pick up a signal with the magnetic strips that are in there through induction. more
